The ledger is a raw event log — one row per date, location, disposition and MSKU — so Unilytic rebuilds the running position for every SKU at every fulfilment centre rather than making you reconcile it by hand.

Then override any of it per category or sub-category — because a fast-moving consumable and a bulky seasonal line should not answer to the same numbers.

A recommendation that dead-ends in a spreadsheet is half a tool. Unilytic carries it through to a shipment you can actually create.
Out, low and excess, sorted
Every SKU lands in a bucket the moment the data loads, so genuine stockouts rise to the top and the overstocked lines stop getting reordered out of habit.
Rewind to any past date
Set an as-of date and the whole dashboard answers as it would have that morning — the ledger is filtered to that day. Useful when you are working out why a SKU ran dry three weeks ago.
Why this matters
A stockout is not one lost sale — it is a lost ranking.
When an FBA offer goes out of stock the listing stops converting, and the position it held in search does not politely wait for the restock. The reverse costs money too: units sitting past their useful cover accrue storage fees and tie up cash you could have put into stock that actually moves. Replenishment is the decision that quietly sets both, and most sellers make it weekly, from memory, in a spreadsheet.

- Reordering on total stock, not per-warehouse stockA SKU can show plenty of national cover while the FC serving half your customers has none. The national number hides the stockout that is actually happening.
- Treating every SKU with one reorder ruleA 30-day cover target that suits your fast movers will badly over-order a slow seasonal line. Without per-category overrides, one setting has to be wrong for somebody.
- Counting unsellable units as inventoryDefective, customer-damaged and warehouse-damaged units all sit in the ledger. Count them as stock and you will skip a replenishment you needed.
- Rebuilding the same spreadsheet every MondayThe work is not the arithmetic, it is the reconciliation before the arithmetic — and it is thrown away and redone every single week.

How do I know how much inventory to send to Amazon FBA?01
Load your Inventory Ledger and Unilytic computes a quantity to send per SKU and per warehouse using a formula you set — days of stock to send, low and excess thresholds, a round-up multiple, and a minimum for out-of-stock SKUs. The defaults are 30 days of cover, a 14-day low threshold, a 45-day excess threshold and a ×5 round-up, and every one of them is editable. Any quantity can be overridden by hand before it becomes a shipment.
Can I set my own reorder rules instead of a fixed formula?02
Yes. Every input is tunable, and you can override the settings per category and per sub-category, so a fast-moving consumable and a bulky seasonal line do not have to share one reorder policy.
Does it tell me which warehouse to send each SKU to?03
It does. Recommendations are per-warehouse, so each Amazon fulfilment centre and each of your own locations gets its own send quantity instead of one national number that hides a regional stockout. If you want those shipments ranked by urgency rather than listed, the Ship Now page orders them by what it costs you per day to keep waiting.
What file do I need to upload to get started?04
The Amazon Inventory Ledger you already pull from Seller Central. Alternatively, connect SP-API once and Unilytic syncs the ledger for you every night, so there is no file to remember at all.
Can I see what my inventory looked like on a past date?05
Yes. Set an as-of date (any day up to yesterday) and the dashboard recomputes against the ledger as it stood that morning — useful for working out what actually happened before a stockout.
